That Ed had some health issues is no secret. He, himself, let it be known, in the Press, before taking some time-off.

I was delighted to see him today at the Laconia Multicultural Festival. He was seated on the lawn. He looked good. We spoke. I met him, when we were both in Laconia Rotary nearly 20-years ago. He tells me he is still Mayor for another month. He is not seeking office again, though from what I gather he will win, easily, again.

Well, I happened to take this picture, from afar, and it is SO ‘Ed’ that I wanted to share.

Planet Fitness’ Delightful “I Lift Things Up And Put Them Down” Commercial, From 2011, Is BACK!

Happened to see it, this morning, on ‘GMA’ and it made my morning. Recognized and remembered it at once. What a classic. The guy is such a natural.

Good move by Planet Fitness. Reuse a memorable commercial — and make a definite impact — without spending money on a new one.

Kudos to their marketing team.

They got it right the first time and got it right again. Not too many marketing departments are that savvy.

Watch it again.

I am NOT a great fan of commercials. I Fast Forward through them or change channels and then come back.

But, this one I will watch.

Well we knew it (i.e., Fenix 6 features on the older watches) would come but I wasn’t expecting it this fast. WOW. I am delighted, though I am also hoping to get a Fenix 6 in the coming weeks!

From what I can see the software was downloaded in two batches — Thursday night and Friday night (i.e., yesterday). I got the ‘4.10’ message last night.

Took a second to get used to the ‘widgets at a glance‘ BUT now I love it. You do get to see more data, quicker.

I tried the Fenix 6 watch faces. I have NEVER been a fan of Garmin watch faces! They are interesting BUT not my cup of tea.

I was gone to a multicultural festival all day. So, haven’t had timed to play around with any of the other features. But, they all seem to be there.

Well done, Garmin. You did good.

SMILE.

N.H. ‘Wallis Sands’ State Park Prohibits Digging Dry Sand.

We stopped by there on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, when we went for a drive by the ocean. First time we have ever pulled in and parked there. Drive by there all the time but we are always going somewhere else. It was near empty. Nice beach. Nice views. Well maintained.

I saw the BIG sign in RED: ‘No Digging In Dry Sand’.

Never seen a sign like that.

I guess it has to do with pollution and EROSION. Dry sand will — and I guess MUST — get blown about and away from the beach.

Strange. But, that must be the reason. I will have to ask someone.

Wanted to share.
