Fenix 6 Has 1.4″ Display, Vivoactive 4 Might Do So Too — But What Is The ‘Garmin Venu’ About?

by Anura Guruge

The Garmin Venu, with a 43mm case, is YET ANOTHER watch that is supposed to debut next week — on August 28, 2019.

With two buttons it looks very much like the Vivoactive 4 — and there is a Vivoactive 4S for smaller wrists, so the Venu just can’t be just a smaller version of the VA4.

I get a feeling that it is a lower cost, i.e., $150, range competitor against Fitbit — with less sports functionality than that on a Vivoactive 3 or Vivoactive 4.

I (as a Garmin shareholder and owner) think that Garmin has TOO MANY MODELS. It is crazy. It cost real money for Garmin to introduce, maintain and support models — but it is also confusing for consumers and for retailers!

Yes, the Venu puzzles me. Do you have any ideas?

Went to visit the park, around 3pm after spending many hours at ‘Steamtown‘. There was thunderstorms in the forecast and the weather did not look promising. So, I was hoping we could take refuge in the Everhart Museum which is inside the Park. It is closed on Wednesdays! That was disappointing.

But, we decided to explore until the rains came. Though it always looked imminent, it did not rain. So, we lucked out.

Nay Aug‘ is an Indian name and means ‘noisy brook’ — the brook is sure is that.

The Tree House was cute. I hiked the Gorge. You can see that in the GPS track. It was fun and scenic. I had fun. Got to see a train. That was a bonus.

The rose garden was quite impressive too, though it was past its peak.

Definitely recommend it. I wish we weren’t always keeping an eye on the rain. I would love to go back. Nice place Scranton — Joe Biden’s birthplace.

Instant Karma: World’s First Porsche Fails To Sell At Auction Because Of Bad English?

Classic.

A German car and a Dutch auctioneer. I know the Dutch have a long, storied history when it comes to auctioneering BUT how do you end up with one that even his OWN PEOPLE can’t understand.

This was a multi-million dollar question. Nobody at Sotheby’s was paying attention? This is crazy.

But, I class it as ‘Instant Karma‘. German cars give you that. Trust me on this.
