YouTube Videos Of UP ‘Big Boy’ 4014s Trip Across The Midwest For The 150 Anniversary Of The Transcontinental Railroad.

My post from last month that did mention the ‘Big Boy’ run across the Midwest.

Just some of the ‘Big Boy’ videos now on YouTube. Search on ‘big boy 4014’.

Well I am sure that some of you by now have sussed out that I am a HUGE train buff. I make no secret of it.

One of my favorite U.S. locomotives is, of course, the ‘Big Boy‘. I used to have two of them in N-scale but my son, then young, destroyed one of them. But, I still have the other.

Watching these videos of the restored U.P. ‘Big Boy 4014’ is quite a treat. I wanted to make sure that you knew they were there on YouTube.
