This does NOT make ANY sense. This is the first real sentence in the Mueller report. What that “[a]t” denotes is that the original document, viz. 28 C.F.R. § 600.8(c) said “t” rather than “at“. That seemed very strange to me. We are talking about an official U.S. government document that had to have been vetted and approved by many — quite a few of them extremely pedantic lawyers.
So, I went looking for the original. Well, you can see for yourself. It says “At” not just “t”. Also it includes “Special Counsel” at the end. The Mueller Report indicates that that too was missing n the original. So, what gives?
Yes, it is possible that 28 C.F.R. § 600.8(c) was updated AFTER the report came out and folks at the DOJ realized the typos. Unlikely.
Was it possible that Mueller was working with an OLD copy?
I haven’t heard anybody mention this, but it does NOT make sense to I.
I am shocked and appalled! This is NOT RIGHT. UltraTrac can’t be this bad — but it is.
That 0.44 mile walk was from Wednesday, April 17, 2019 — my first day off crutches in 6-weeks after my knee surgery. My first walk in 6-weeks. As I am walking I realize that the GPS distance is off — way off. But, I persevered. Today, 2-days later I clocked the distance of just a part of that walk using my car. Just that section came to 0.4 miles and I didn’t even bother driving half of the ‘course’.
This is stupid. Same problem that Garmin has with open water swimming.
There really should not be an issue. It should be able to compute the distance between the GPS reading. It, with my Garmin Fenix 5 Plus, even has the gyroscope to tell it which way I was headed. Very disappointed.
Did a Google on ‘UltraTac’. This is a known and COMMON problem. I am amazed that Garmin hasn’t bothered to fix it.
So, heads-up. Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, use UltraTac. It is a joke.
Now Alexa integration. Wow. Keeps on getting better.
It is very popular outside of the USA.
I am hoping that it will catch on in the US.
Check it out.
They are claiming that it is the ‘Fastest Growing Indian Market in the East‘. That is good.
Mid-May? That seems unusually early in the Season to I. Kids are still in school (in New England) and given that it is northern Maine it isn’t going to exactly toasty Summer weather. I am surprised that it is not in June or July. C’est la vie. I would like to see it but there is no way I am going up there is mid-May this year. We went in March last year — but that was different. We wanted to experience a bit of Acadia in the ‘Winter’. May is neither here nor there.
