Mandala Of The Day, By Teischan (12) — February 23, 2019.

Other than the circles, everything else is hand drawn.

It is a privilege to see these being created and be able to savor the real thing up close. My photographs, however, hard I try, do not do them justice. They have a 3D quality, especially when she uses stick-on crystals — as she did on this one. You can see a circle of them in the middle circle and on the points of the main star. We are trying to get her to sell these. But, no. These are hers and she is keeping them. Our dining rooms are rapidly getting covered in mandalas. I think we have upwards of 22.

The Soon To Be Available Samsung ‘Galaxy Active’ Smartwatch Will Measure Blood Pressure On The Wrist.

Heart rate monitoring is good. A must have and I am not sure I could now live without it.

ECG/EKG is cute, but it doesn’t seem to do much for I since I, to my amazement, appear to have a normal rhythm.

But, on the wrist blood pressure monitoring, with a smartwatch, is HUGE. I have always said I will get a smartwatch that will accurately measure blood pressure. This Samsung Galaxy Active appears to have it ALL for $199. It is crazy. GPS, sleep, AMOLED display, HR and blood pressure.

Now I did own a Samsung Frontier S3 but I didn’t use it much. Ended up selling it — for a decent price. But, the Galaxy Active might be different. Having blood pressure, on my wrist, 24×7, is hard to bypass.

Galaxy Active will NOT be available till March 8, 2019. There are NO reviews of the blood pressure feature as yet. I would like to see a couple of reviews. But, for that price I might just pre-order and if it does not work — return it.

Law School Attendance In The US Down, Way Down!

I happened to hear this on NPR (as in first image) yesterday and had to do a double-take. They are even talking of law schools closing down.

Wow.

Law school enrollment & attendance really is down. Half of what it was a decade ago?

Who would have thought? Who would have credited? If anything you would think that more ‘kids’ wanted to be lawyers when they see all these rich & famous lawyers on TV.

Yes, it is not cheap becoming a lawyer. That is supposedly a factor. But, there is also the rewards.

I am surprised. I guess all the jokes about lawyers have finally come home to roost.

A U.S. with not as many lawyers. Wow. What is that going to be like. I can predict one thing. Their rates will go up even further. That, obviously, will cause the tide to reverse.

I will have to keep an eye on this. See who I know is planning to become a lawyer.
