Alton airport on ice plane crash Anura Guruge New Hampshire Sony a7 II

You can see the BENT prop on the far-side. The plane is held up on a trestle.

Wider perspective.

We drove by at 3:45pm hoping to take some pictures of planes to add to those that I took last Sunday.

This was the ONLY plane there was and I knew that it had had a mishap. It was all on its lonesome in the middle of the taxiway and you could clearly see that it was propped up. From past accidents, I assume they have to wait for a FAA (NTSB) inspector to come and check the accident and give the ‘all clear’.

When I got home I saw the ‘Union Leader’ post (above).

We have had more spectacular crashes in the past. See below.

There Has Been NO Software Update To The ‘Garmin Fenix 5 Plus’ Since December 1, 2018; 6.51 Beta Only Fixes Biking Anomaly!

I hadn’t used my ‘Garmin Fenix 5 Plus‘ for 20-days. I was instead wearing an ‘Amazfit Verge‘ with a very pleasing AMOLED display.

Yesterday, when I went back to the Fenix 5 Plus, the first thing I did was USB charge it on my PC. While I was at it I fired up Garmin Express to check for updates. There were NONE! I was surprised. I expected there to be one. Nada.

So, today I went looking. OK, there is a 6.51 beta, released on December 17, 2018, but per the Change Log it only has one bike-related fix.

Hhhmmm … I am surprised and disappointed. I had expected that Garmin would have rolled out a slew of fixes and some new features. Maybe it was the holidays. Stay tuned … What else can we do. Try to contact Garmin? That was a JOKE.

This Is The 10,009 Published Post On This Blog — Yes, I Have Gone Past The 10,000 Post Mark.

Very First Post,
June 30, 2009.

9 Years, 7 months & 11 days.

3,512 days.

10,009 POSTS.

I had been blogging, daily, on my ‘Pope’ blogs a couple of years prior to starting this blog. Those days I used multiple blogging platforms … before eventually standardizing everything on WordPress.

I started this blog, in June 2009, because I was beside myself that I had been raped by ‘Dartmouth Hitchcock‘ (DHMC). I wanted to publicize my grievances. I only did 2 posts that year. I did NOT do any 2010 & did 3 in 2011. So, basically 2009 to 2012 this blog was dormant. It was 2012, and really the August 2012 Olympics in London, that I really started blogging here. So, in reality this blog is less than 7-years old. Does not matter.

10,000 posts is a fairly respectable number. Yes, I probably have about 20 guest posts. But, I have also deleted at least 40 posts that I have written. So, I am cool with the 10,000 posts. I know I have done at least 10,000 on this blog.

If I use the June 2009 start date it still averages out at 3 posts a day. I am cool with that. These days, that is typically my minimum, one post each day, for the last few years, being my 7-pictures of the day.

The question is will I make it to 20,000. I haven’t really thought about it.

But, here is to the 1st 10,000 posts on this BLOG. Cheers.

Over the years I have had
