Wow. It is true. I happened to see this ‘post’, on my Google News feed earlier today. When I was next in front of the TV I tried it out. Yes, they are free. STRANGE. Couldn’t find a Christmas theme. Closest was a ‘White Winter’. So, have that now. See below. Enjoy.

Other than the circles, everything else is hand drawn.
What can I say other than this is the front of a ‘Thank You’ note done today by Teischan (12). I am trying to convince her that she needs to start doing commercially. The actual card, with 3-sides of painting looks pretty spectacular.
Yikes. I had NOT heard of this and I, in addition to owning a fair amount of Garmin, am an actual Garmin shareholder (and I own a respectable amount of shares (enough to write multiple option contracts)). I only came across it when I was researching the new Actigraph partnership.
Garmin is a BILLION dollar company so this is not that huge, but it is significant. They probably have to sell 6,000 Garmin Fenix 5s to make a $1.2 million profit.
Just factor this in the next time you try to contact Garmin support.
As the NPR article points out there is an Australian court gag order preventing details of this HUGE case from being divulged at present.
But, it appears that he has been convicted — though he has already appealed it. Hence, the secrecy.
If the conviction holds this will be pivotal. This is NOT about cover-up. This is about actual, hands-on sexual abuse.
Once a papabile (i.e., a pope contender).
Confidante of Pope Francis.
This will be HUGE.
Garmin has to react fairly soon.
This partnership with Actigraph is a good start. Actigraph, right now, does not have a ECG/EKG product but you have to be sure that they and Garmin have been looking into it. As I discovered the ‘chipsets’ for getting the ECG/EKG readings are readily available and not that expensive. So, it is not a huge hill that has to be climbed.
Actigraph, right now, appears to marketing high-end activity trackers — albeit without GPS. So, quite a bit of overlap, but also areas that they can cooperate on to improve.
Good move. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
