Wow. This came as a shock. 65. I think that struck a chord. Same age as me but eight-months older.

Never met him and really never knew too much about him. Knew he was the real brains behind Microsoft and that he was a genuine philanthropist. Did NOT realize he never married or had any kids.

He always came across as a decent bloke. Nicer than Bill, I think.

Shame. All that wealth and it couldn’t save him from cancer. Eerily similar to Steve Jobs. What is it with this? Have you given it any thought?

It is the END of an era. PCs, Windows and Microsoft are no longer new or ‘recent’. They have all reached old age..

Paul Gardner Allen (1953 – 2018), RIP

Gorgeous flowers are a hallmark of this beautiful, enchanting hilltop estate. Taking pictures of the flowers is one of my favorite parts of our many trips to the Castle. On this visit we didn’t step foot in the Castle. Just roamed the estate.

If you do a search on ‘flowers castle’ you will find MANY previous posts on “The Flowers Of ‘Castle In The Clouds‘”.

So, enjoy. It was cold today. In the 50Fs. Winter is coming. So, I need to get my full fill of flowers while I still can. Cheers.
