The ‘Best’ Smart Watches Per ‘Business Insider’ — Though Not Necessarily The Best Activity/Fitness Trackers.
Google, which knows more about I than I actually do, brought this article to my attention.
It was interesting. I am not into smart watches. My kick is high-end activity/fitness trackers — like the Garmin Fenix 5. I actually DUMB DOWN my watches. I do NOT want them acting as smart watches. I am old. I don’t want to be notified on e-mail. I will check for e-mail in my own time.
Some of these names were new to me. They all came some fitness/activity tracking capability. Would be fun to see what they are.
But, I wanted to share this with you.
I know that they are Coast Guard certified and have ton of life jackets on board. I think they are tucked, in plain sight, under the roof.
So, when I saw this sinking the first thing that crossed my mind was were they NOT wearing life jackets. Now we know. They were NOT.
That is beyond CRAZY. That is criminally irresponsible. They should have been wearing life jackets as soon as the going got a bit rough.
So, this puzzles me.
There will, of course, be hell to pay. But, it is too late. All those poor kids

Taking the dogs to the Alton McDonald’s (at the circle) for their birthdays has now been a firm tradition for close to ten years. Started with Ulysses when we moved to Alton in 2007. It has continued with Maya and Braxton. Maya’s 7th birthday was on May 15, 2018, and we took them both to McDonald’s.
It is not the only time we take them to this McDonald’s. They get to go on a fairly regular basis. They know the routine when we get there. They each get two plain cheeseburgers and whatever buns I do not eat. No fries. They are happy.
It is fun. Teischan enjoys it as much as the dogs and, of course, she gets food and ice cream too. So, she does better than the dogs. She is the one that keeps track of these birthdays.
So, both their birthdays in 2018 is done.
