This is the breathtaking art of an amazingly talented (and incredibly self-effacing) lady from Bangor, Maine. She paints it naked eye — and without using anything to keep the ‘filaments’ of the goose feather from separating as she paints. Moreover, according to her, she has only being painting, in any form, for two and a half-years! She just discovered one day, in adulthood, that she can draw like this. This is mounted in a frame and cost $24. I would have paid more.
She did not have a business card or anything else and very politely declined to have a picture taken. She just gave us a list of all the Craft Fairs she will be at for the remainder of 2018. She will be back in Wolfeboro during August 10 — 12. So, you may want to try and catch her then.
