You might as well enjoy the Spring.

Dedication to her craft.

Took all her paint supplies out on a rolling stand. But, I just wanted this picture of her.

I have been looking for them — viz. our Lady Slippers.

Given the unusually chilly Spring we have had I expect them to blossom a bit late.

I now know where to look. We have an area, close to home, that has had a profusion of Lady Slippers the last few years.

So, this morning, while walking the dogs, I checked. Found these two ‘prepubescent’ blossoms. Went back later with my Google Pixel 2.

I will, of course, keep you posted.

We go to the ‘Squam Lake Science Center‘ through Meredith — and also come back that way. So, today it kind of made sense for us to stop at Giuseppe’s Pizzeria for dinner given that it is one of our perennial favorites. Our second Sunday in a ROW at Giuseppe’s and we are NOT complaining. It was, as ever, good.

They had a lot of flowers out for Mother’s Day. I took a few pictures which I wanted to share with YOU.

Mother’s Day 2018, up here in New Hampshire, was really like the first day of Spring after what has been a chilly start. But, Mother’s Day proved to be exceptional.

Part of the reason of going to the ‘Squam Lake Science Center‘ was to see what flowers they had in bloom at their ‘Kirkwood Gardens’. It was definitely not in full swing but they had more flowers than we had expected. So, that was a bonus. About 98% of what is shown above were from the ‘Kirkwood Gardens’
