But, the Austrian Tourist Board using his nudes to promote travel to Austria and that is not going down well in certain puritanical quarters.
While it would be crass to call his nudes controversial, they sure are provocative — and that is both good and bad. They definitely attract attention, which is beneficial but it also means that some folks will take umbrage to them.
That the Austrians got the necessary permissions and permits from NYC is a miracle in its own right. Even if they are now forced to take the ads. down, Austria shure would have got their monies worth, if not more from the added publicity they managed to garner. It is very possible that they actually bargained that they might be able to provoke a controversy and with that lost of media coverage. Well they succeeded.

Wow. One full year. Who would have thought; who would have believed.
Yes, my frenzy of going through cameras has slowed down dramatically.
I am happy with the Sony a7 II. Just need to get some better lens for it.
But, I am NOT using it, or my other two cameras, much since I got my Google Pixel 2 phone for Christmas 2017. That is quite the thing. Over the last few months I have been using the pixel 2 most of the time.
The numbers alone tell the story. I took 10,000 pictures with the a7 II in its first 4 months. I have since taken 7,300 in the remaining 8 months. I have taken just 2,000 pictures with it since getting the Pixel 2 and 642 of those were when we went to Acadia in March 2018.
Nonetheless, and important anniversary for I. I am most likely going to hold onto this a7 II for awhile. Maybe another year! And who said miracles do not happen?
So, the promo banner Ad for this while watching the season 2 finale of “The Good Karma Hospital“.
I was excited because I thought this was to be a new, remake. But, alas, not so. It is the 1984 series from the U.K.
I did see the original and remember that it was quite gripping. But, I now worry that the image quality could let it down. Let’s hope not. Looking forward to the first episode next week. I will keep you posted.
