Why do you need TWO?
The so called ‘International‘ channels are broadcast by a separate satellite which in a different spot in the sky.
I remembered this from 11-years ago when I first got DISH with cricket. Needed to have two antennas installed! Then I moved to ‘Sling‘ …
I tried last week to get Willow TV on DISH and ran into the 2nd DISH requirement. I could NOT be bothered since I plan to get rid of DISH before the Summer.
So, just a heads up.
You can have it, BIT you will have to wait for a DISH installation — and possibly have to pay around $100 for the privilege!
“Vaisakhi”, The Sikh Festive Celebration, Coincides Each Year With The Sinhala New Year (On April 13 – 14).
But, in all that time I never knew of this festival. Wow.
So, a few minutes ago, I did some Googling. I am shocked. Wow.
But, I realize that it is NOT a coincidence!
The Sikhs and the Sinhalese are RELATED — we are both people of the ‘Singh‘ — i.e., the Lion.
All Sikhs have ‘Singh’ in their name, and ‘Sinhalese’ starts with ‘Sin(g)h’. Plus, we have the rampant LION on our flag.
But, we and the Sikhs are from FAR Northwestern ‘India’ — actually what is now the area occupied by Iran.
Neato! I will have to find out more. Now I know where I can celebrate Sinhala New Year. With the Sikhs.

I check my Metrocast Internet speed, every morning, with Fast.com, before I start doing any work on my PC. I just want to make sure everything is copacetic.
So, I do my test, hoping to see 140 to 150Mbps, I get 190Mbps! Try again. It even flirts with 200Mbps, then falls back to 190Mbps,
I am impressed. I am happy.
I am NO stranger to Metrocast bumping up the Internet speed with no warning and more importantly, NO INCREASE in price.
In 2015 it was 75Mbps, and I was thrilled to get that speed.
In January 2016, with no fanfare, they increased the speed to 105 – 110Mbps. I was over the moon.
In January 2017, again with no notice, they hiked the speed up to 150 – 160Mbps.
OK. I waited and waited in January 2018 for another hike. Nada. I was crushed. I wrote about it.
Then, in mid-April, this.
Not complaining. All good. I am happy.
I do have a TDS 45 Mbps service IN ADDITION to my ‘190 Mbps’ Metrocast — as a backup. I use it to drive my Roku 3 streaming.
