Why does English insist on being so confusing, confounding, cruel and callous to us foreigners. Why can’t it be simple and logical like Sinhalese (my native tongue) or Hindi (that of “The New Camera”).
‘Fast’ refers to speed, so why is ‘fasten’ not related to speed?
So confusing. It is so bad like with ‘good’. I never understood why it is never good, gooder and goodest. Sounds good to I.
I am convinced it is a conspiracy to make us foreigners sound bad, if just having an accent wasn’t more bad.

This is NOT good. Very disappointing and discouraging. I, like so many others, was rooting for the Garmin Forerunner 645. On paper it looks irresistible.
Shame that Garmin rushed it out before it was ready for prime-time.
That step count accuracy is poor is extremely damning. That is the basic, core function. IF you can’t trust that, then there is no point getting the FR645.
I am more or less sure that I will not get a FR645 anymore. Not worth the risk. Thinking of getting a Forerunner 935 which gets better reviews, on a consistent basis, and has been on the market for over a year. So, it is proven.
This was so good to watch, so good to experience.
Instant bloody KARMA.
Dished out with panache and relish. The cheating Australian bums didn’t know which way to turn. All at sea.
Steve Smith was humiliated as a batsman. Played like a pillock and now we all know that he is a right royal pillock. He should be banned from all cricket for life. He should lose all his endorsements. Cheater, cheater, pants on fire.
Yes, I have made no secret that I am very fond of the South African cricket team. Why? Because they TRULY embody Nelson Mandela’s dream of a rainbow colored South Africa. That team, truly multiracial and multicultural plays as a cohesive unit — race never a factor. That makes me so happy. That is why I root for them.
