If you ever study the origins of the ‘G-spot‘, named after German gynecologist Ernst Gräfenberg [1881 to 1957], you will discover that he, from the very start, in 1950, believed that it was related to the urethra and urethral stimulation.

I have never been a great fan of the G-spot. I have always sided with the clitoral camp. So, I am not that surprised about this latest claim. I, however, do not think the debate is over. Not by a long chalk. But, the G-spot followers could now be on a slippery slope. {Smile}.

I just wanted to make sure that you did not miss these latest findings.

Those of you who know this blog will recall that I have a thing about taking pictures of flowers and that there are lots and lots of posts with titles “Flowers of …“. Well, I just went and had a look. My last “Flowers of” post was from October 18, 2017. I guess that is why I got so excited when I saw these great flowers.

Two displays at the “Atlantic Oceanside” hotel we stayed at during our latest visit to Acadia National Park (our 10th in 4 years) last week. They had two gorgeous vases. The flowers were from a florist from Ellsworth.

I wanted to share them with you, if you too are missing fresh flowers.

Garmin Forerunner 645 Owner’s Manual Now Available.

by Anura Guruge

Click image to download PDF version if you so wish. Otherwise get it from Garmin.

I found it, for the first time, last night.

I haven’t looked through it yet. But, wanted to make sure that YOU knew about it.

The Garmin link is this …

Enjoy. With luck I hope to have one in about 8 weeks. I am NOT getting one from the first batch. Learned that, to my cost, with the Garmin Vivoactive 3.

Buddhist On Muslim Violence Erupts In Sri Lanka (Again) — Just As I Have Warned.

As the above posts show I have been very concerned about this since 2014. There are more posts and IF you are interested, please search on “Sri Lanka Buddhists” & “Myanmar“.

The hardline Sri Lankan Buddhists have been itching for this ‘fight’. They want to emulate what is happening in Myanmar (née Burma) and the poor Rohingya.

This is Trump style Nationalism Sri Lanka-style. A Buddhist state with no other religions. Unlikely to happen BUT the Sri Lankan Buddhists will be eager and happy to spill as much blood as possible to try and make that happen.

This is the Buddhist version of the Crusades. Pacificity be damned. They THINK they are doing “Buddha’s” work. I hate to admit this BUT most of US Sri Lankan Buddhists are NOT that bright! That is the crux of the problem. Stupidity and ignorance.

I ceased to be a Buddhist 46-years ago, and a Sri Lankan 35-years ago.

Yes, my adoptive father bears SOME BLAME for some of this. But, here is the supreme irony. In the 1950s & 1960s, when this rabid Buddhist revor was still in its embryonic state, his BEST FRIEND was a Muslim, Senator A. M. A. Aziz. How my adoptive father, who became more and more like Trump as he grew older, would reconcile what is happening in Ceylon with his relationship with Senator A. M. A. Aziz would be fascinating to study. Being the poser he was, to his death, he would rationalize it. But, never in my eyes.

This is so sad.

I really would like the International Cricket Council (ICC) to intervene. Because after sex and violence, Sri Lankan Buddhist love their cricket. A boycott of Sri Lanka, in terms of cricket, would stop any violence in its tracks.

Garmin Forerunner 645 (Without Music) Should Be Available By April 2018.

by Anura Guruge

It used to say, right through February 2018, “5 – 8 weeks”.

End of last week, i.e., start of March, it changed to this “2 – 3 weeks” — albeit, still as an estimate.

I think it will be available in April 2018 — though hopefully Garmin will have enough sense not to make it April 1.

I am NOT going to make the mistake I made with the Vivoactive 3. I am not going to pre-order or try and get a unit as soon as it is available. It would appear that the first batch of Garmin watches, of late, are suspect — i.e., rushed to market. I am going to TRY and wait until at least May 2018. That is the plan. But, that can change.

My Fourth Week With A Fitbit Ionic — Floors Climbed Saves My Bacon, And 3-Days In Acadia Helped.

by Anura Guruge

We were in Acadia National Park Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Though it was March, the temps were between 36F — 41F, with no rain or snow. But, heavy wind by the coast. I, however, walked 3-4 miles, on the coastal walkway, between Sand Beach and Fabbri Point Friday & Saturday. That helped in terms of steps.

What can I say about I and floors climbed. That is my thing. Elevation. 59 floors a day. I like that.
