I Have Graduated To Having Two Activity Trackers, Garmin Vivoactive 3 & Samsung S3 Frontier.

I refused to wear the Rolex I had for 26-years, 24×7 even though I was told it would keep better time because it would always be at my body temperature.

But, since I got the Garmin Vivoactive HR in June 2017 I have got so used to having an activity tracker on my wrist that I feel LOST when I don’t have one. Well, when my new Vivoactive 3 died and I had to wait 8-days for a replacement I was very distraught.

Santa owed me a birthday present from way back in September. So, I called in my IOU. So, now I will have a backup if one of them fails, PLUS the Samsung makes a pretty decent dress watch.

Contrary to what Deanna says, I will NOT wear both at the same time to see if they record the same data. No way. This, for the picture, was the first and last time that they will grace my arm together. And no, I cannot wear a watch on my right wrist.

She had been working on these, on her own and in secret, for the last few weeks — in a downstairs craft area. If she heard me coming down the stairs she would shout at me to stay away. So we knew she was making something, but nothing this elaborate.

This is free hand. Made my day. Definitely better than a phone or activity tracker — and I got those too, BUT my ‘Daddy’ painting was my favorite.

It was a good Christmas despite the 4″ – 5″ inches of snow in the morning. We expected to lose power. We didn’t. It stopped snowing at 1pm. Light, fluffy snow. Was not hard to shovel. We, working together, had the whole driveway down to the blacktop within 75 minutes. Then we celebrated with a ton of takeout Chinese including duck. It was good.

The incomparable, very distinctive & distinguished Marta Dusseldorp is, of course, Sarah Adams/Sarah Nordmann, in “A Place To Call Home” — a series that we are totally hooked on.

Now as some of you know I am not into celebrity following and my inability to identify actors/actresses is legendary.  Marta Dusseldorp, is an exception. I do recognize her and know who she is.

So, this was a thrill. Teischan will be ‘impressed’ I hope.
