December 5th — 20-days to go. I think this is par for the course for the last FEW years. It used to be 10 days before Christmas, but as Teischan got older she was more and more insistent that we get the trees early. She put up her tree in her room, a 2016 innovation, on November 27 — 8-days ago.
Way back we used to go and cut the two trees. But, the tree farm we used to visit ran out of trees!
This year, we shopped local, and paid $35/tree — at “Lisa’s Dragonfly Gardens” in Alton. But, I didn’t have to drive for 40 minutes, up steep hills, with two trees roped to the top of the van. We were home within 10-minutes and 99% of the route was FLAT. That alone was worth $10. Yes, one of these days one or both of the trees are going to fall off the roof.
Puts “Indian Summers” to shame, and “Downton Abbey“, with all of its exquisitely crafted drama, never, in my opinion, had so many suspenseful storylines in parallel. Whoever the writers are they are GOOD. Definitely knows their craft and audience. Bravo. Yes, of course, there are a few patches when the storyline and dialogue sags. But, that is to be expected.
Australians should be proud.
Obviously any study like this is always going to fall foul of new arrivals — and that was the case here in that it does not include the Garmin Vivoactive 3. Pity.
One of their 3 recommended trackers in the Vivoactive HR. That makes sense.
Check it out — bearing in find that it is already ‘dated’.
They kindly sent me an e-mail pointing me at this review.
The January 1, 2018 will be even closer than the December 4.
So, that is good. I will keep you posted.
