Alton BayLake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire.

None of the lake at noon yesterday, December 30, 2017.

Then New Year’s Eve 2018, December 31, 2017, there is ONE. Ice must have just got thick enough. Impressive. As you can see JUST the Bob House. No people! Kind of cold. It was, at best, 3°F when I took these pictures.

In a couple of weeks we should have 30 or more. I will post as we go along.

Happy New Year.

Kind of sad. Another year bites the dust — and what have I got to show for it, other than being an year older? YIKES!

The second picture was taken at 4:14pm. Sunset for December 31, 2017, in this neck of the woods, was slated for 4:20pm. So, 6 minutes ahead. While evenings are getting longer, mornings continue to be earlier and earlier despite this being a full 10-days after the Winter Solstice. But, thanks to the longer evenings days are LONGER! Mornings turn the corner on January 8, 2018.
