Amazon Packaging Is Socially Irresponsible!

by Anura Guruge

A set of 4 TINY watch straps pins
that I received today!

EXACTLY as it arrived.

Nothing removed, nothing rearranged. Untouched.

There was NO packing. Nothing to break.

This was it.

The little packed had slipped under the bottom flaps!

The ITEM!

This is irresponsible.

I just could NOT believe it. I knew what was inside. I was expecting it.

This is BEYOND crazy.

A tiny package of unbreakable stuff. It should have gone in a padded envelope.

This makes me very upset and annoyed — especially as an Amazon shareholder.

UPDATE

I tweeted this post and copied Amazon. They responded.
They have a PACKAGING FEEDBACK process — here is the link.
I used it. Pretty neat.

Send them the pictures and feedback. Now YOU know.

The Garmin Vivoactive 3 Bluetooth Pairing Problem — With An Android 7.0 Tablet.

by Anura Guruge

THIS is why it took me nearly 22 attempts (or more) to PAIR my new Garmin Vivoactive 3 with my ASUS ZenPad 10.1″ running Android 7.0.

The Bluetooth pairing message on Garmin Connect would not result in the Tablet generating a Bluetooth notification.

Other times I would get the Bluetooth pairing message on the tablet — BUT Garmin Connect would not recognize it.

Garmin Support wanted me to get this screenshot.

India vs Sri Lanka, 1st Test, November 2017 — What A Test Match Should Be.

by Anura Guruge

Wow. This was quite the Test match. Exciting, enthralling and engrossing. I was totally captivated. Could not wait to see the highlights of Days 2 -5.

Kind of knew that the rain stoppages would lead to a draw — BECAUSE I could not envisage another Indian collapse in the 2nd innings. And in that I was right.

I think India could have won if they had another 30-minutes! And that says it all about the twists-and-turns of this game.

A wicket with the first ball of the match. Wow.

A way to start the series.
