Miscellaneous Flowers & Fauna As The New Hampshire Fall Falters With The First Frost — October 17, 2017.

Had our first frost of the 2017 Fall last night. So, the remaining flowers are on borrowed time. I, as such, need to snap as many since I am going to go for 6-months without any — outside. It is a hard life up here near the Arctic Circle.

In case you noticed or wondered, I was using a different lens. No, not a new one. One I already had, BUT rarely use. For the first time, ever, I put one of my Sony a6500 APS-C lenses on my fullframe a7 II. It was a trip. The lens happened to be my Sony f/3.5 30mm macro. Totally changes the picture and the resolution.

For the first time, ever, I put one of my Sony a6500 APS-C lenses on my fullframe a7 II. It was a trip. The lens happened to be my Sony f/3.5 30mm macro. Totally changes your perspective. So, I was just messing around. Seeing what was possible.

Wolfeboro Adult Education — Another Proposed Spring 2018 Class, “Laziness Should Know No Bounds”.

by Anura Guruge

As with “Quick & Easy Meditation“, I, in my old age, am going about sharing some of my innermost secrets and ‘skills’ with you. Nobody better qualified to teach a class on ‘Being MORE Lazy’ than I. If the truth be known my middle name, all my life, should have been ‘lazy’ — Anura ‘lazy’ Guruge.

My adoptive father, always, maintained, with nary an exception, that I was lazy. He was, of course, as always, right. I have been lazy all my life. I think it is genetic (my REAL father supposed to have been a GAMBLER) though I have spent a lot of time and effort improving on my laziness so I can be even more lazy.

So, now I will share my secrets on how YOU TOO can be more lazy. Laziness knows NO bounds.

Meditation Is NOT Yoga, Yoga In Itself, Is NOT Meditation.

It both amuses and disturbs me to see how folks in the West have complicated meditation. Meditation was never meant to be complicated. Complicating meditation defeats its whole purpose!

As some of you know I teach meditation classes every once in awhile. I have had folks tell me, at these classes, that they get stressed because so much emphasis has been put on ‘staying focused on one object’ and they are worried that they might NOT be able to do that. That is crazy. Nothing about meditation should be stressful.

This is why, I took the time, to write this “Quick & Easy Meditation” book, this Summer, though I was in the midst of writing a book dear to my heart (to do with THINKING) and already have a 300+ page book in my head about Buddhism.

Pope John Paul I, “The Smiling Pope” Of But 33-Days, Was Born This Day, 96-Years Ago; October 17, 1921.

My 2008 book, “Popes and the Tale Of Their Names” started off, on Page 1, with John Paul 1. Click on image below for details on this well-received book.

One of my favorite popes, next to Pope John XXIII (in honor of whom he picked the first part of his double-barreled name), despite his ever so fleeting papacy — my admiration based on what I learnt of him prior to becoming pope.

He was indeed a good man. IF he had lived longer he would have been one of the GREAT popes. Possibly revolutionized the office — hence the lingering suspicions that he was indeed murdered at the Vatican. I actually do believe that something untoward did happen and it wasn’t just a case of a poorly treated dicky heart.

All in one property within 2-miles of our house. Private, secluded property set back from the road with this beautiful pond dug by the owner 29-years ago. I have long wanted to visit and take pictures. Lucky enough to have met the owner, recently, on one of my near-daily runs. He came by today to invite me to come up and get some pictures before the leaves blew off. Though the light was not ideal, I went. WOW! What a place. 42-acres of WONDERLAND. Enjoy.
