The ‘Kinetoscope’, The First Movie Projector (Of Sorts) Was Patented This Day 120-Years Ago; August 31, 1897.

Yes, of course, it was patented by Thomas Edison.

I hate to call it a movie projector since it didn’t do much projecting! It was a viewer device and that person watched the movie via the peephole on the top.

But, it was the start. 120-years ago — exactly. Something to think about.
