We had lunch there on Sunday, May 21, 2017, and I was pleasantly impressed. A very good experience overall. We will definitely be going back and I already signed up for the loyalty program (and am 60% towards my first $10 discount).

Teischan wanted to go to Walmart to get some more craft supplies and since it was such a beautiful day, and we hadn’t done much yesterday, I suggested that we might as well do lunch on the way.

We had seen this ‘grill’ a number of times given that we go to that ‘Walmart Mall‘ or drive past it at least 5 -6 times a month. We were under impression that it had just opened quite recently — like in May. We were wrong. They have been open since December. Wow. I wish I knew. I would have gone in much sooner. Our loss.

It was impressive in every way. Great ambience. Very modern, very pleasing to the eye, spacious and airy. We sat outside on the patio. That was first class and you could not have had a better day.

The service was impeccable! They really try hard.

The menu was good and catered to MY taste. I ordered the ‘Asian Calamari’ and the ‘Tempura Shrimp’. Now we are Calamari connoisseurs and will invariably order it if it is on the menu. This calamari was one of the BEST. It was good. On par, if not better, than the one I have at the ‘Cheesecake Factory‘ in Cambridge, MA when I visit the BostonMuseum of Science‘. The shrimp was also good and put to shame the ones I had recently at ‘Ruby Tuesday‘. We both had the ‘Kale Brussels Salad’ and that was good too.

I had a ‘Jameson Julep‘ given that it was Summer and I was outside. It was ‘OK’ but not to the standard of the ‘Mint Mojitos‘ served at ‘Uno

Actually this place, with all the flowers outside, reminded me, greatly, of the ‘Uno‘ in Concord, NH. That is not a bad thing. I love that Uno.

Initially I thought the prices were a tad rich for Rochester, but looking at the menu again I realize that they are not bad.

They even had live entertainment — starting at 3pm. It was ‘Johnnie James‘ of ‘Sweetrock‘ and he was good. My only gripe, and I made my feelings heard, was that you could not hear him from the patio! They — and it is a franchise — have spent a pretty penny on this place and they have piped music in the patio. But they don’t have a means to relay the live information, from inside, to the patio. So, I had to go inside to listen to Johnnie. That did not amuse me.

I recommend this place — highly. I will let you know when I visit again.
