“Common Good” Southwest Harbor/Acadia Co-Founder Larry Stettner Passes Away — A Real Shame!
A wholesome, modern-day, year-round ‘soup kitchen’ with heart,
in Southwest Harbor, Maine, (adjacent to ‘Acadia National Park‘)
that raises money with ‘As Good As Jordan Pond‘ Popovers,
for breakfast, on a donation basis.
My pictures from September 2016.
A very great shame. A very nice man. I am so happy that I got to meet with him and spend some time chatting.
I already had plans to go to “Common Good” in June for popovers — even if it meant leaving home at 5am. I had hoped to see him again. Now I won’t, BUT I still intend to go.
Appears his wife died just a couple of months ago. What a shame.
I know that “Common Good” will continue to thrive BUT he will be MISSED.
Thank YOU, Larry.
You were one of the GOOD ONES.
