Wow. They are BOTH dead. One dying much younger than the other.

He was magical.

Given that I have spent a LOT of time in India I have had my share of sitar and tabla music.

I am not a huge fan but I can listen to decent/good sitar/tabla music for an extended period of time.

Ravi Shankar is good. I enjoyed listening to him. I hear his daughter is very good. She plays in New Hampshire quite often BUT I have yet to catch her.

A 125X Zoom, 24-3,000mm Monster-Zoom Replacement For My Cherished Nikon Coolpix P900.

As yet it is BUT a rumor, and to be fair there has been speculation for at least 6 months that the P900, when it comes, will indeed have this type of ultrazoom capability.

This would be amazing.

I love my Nikon P900 — which I have now had for 7 months. That is a long time for I.

I used the P900 yesterday. It takes AMAZING pictures with NO FUSS.

If not for my preoccupation with SIZE, in this case Sensor Size, I would not use/need another camera. But, the P900 is a 1/2.3″ and that always niggles me.

After what we went through with the 1″ Nikon DL series I am NOT going to hold my breath for this replacement

One thing I do know. I will get it once Nikon announces it. That is a NO BRAINER. Not sure what I will do with my P900. I might even keep it for posterity.
