We got a LOT of snow — as you can see from the pictures, especially the second one (at top). The winds roared this afternoon. BUT, as yet we have not lost power though the lights flickered, ominously, around 5:30pm.
We waited until 3pm to go out to shovel the snow — by hand. By then the temperature was a BALMY 26°F.
We shoveled enough to get the van out and the GENERATORS (x2). I will be shoveling, steadily, by hand for the rest of the week. That is FINE with I. I like shoveling. Great exercise. Teischan cleared the snow from the trampoline, first thing. She has also built a snow fort underneath.
As you can see folks can have FUN in the snow. I have no complaints — provided we don’t lose power.

Just happened to notice that Nikon hadn’t announced anything, so far, in 2017 — mainly because I was wondering whether it has been a year since the premature announcement of the ill-fated 1″-sensor DL range. They were announced on February 23, 2016. So it is not a year as yet.
Noting from Sony either. By this time last year they had announced the groundbreaking Sony a6300.
So this is the state of play. Just thought I would share. Enjoy and cogitate.
