So Did YOU See The February 10, 2017, Lunar Eclipse Over New Hampshire?

IF you did consider yourself lucky. Good for YOU.

It was cloudy ‘up here’ JUST as I had predicted yesterday. The clouds started to roll in just around 5:30pm, minutes ahead of when the eclipse was going to start.

By 7:30pm, close to THE PEAK, it was very cloudy. I took the above two pictures with my trusty Nikon P900 just to prove that I looked. With the clouds that was the best that I could get (and see).

This is what I can get with the Nikon P900 when it is clear (February 4, 2017).

It was always going to be a PARTIAL Lunar eclipse.

The problem, for us, in New Hampshire is likely to be clouds. At best it will be partly cloudy — as you can see from my top diagram.

But, go outside and take a look. It will be cold.
