Sony Has No New Camera Announcements At CES 2017 In Las Vegas.

by Anura Guruge

They announced 7 cameras in 2016 — which included the Sony a6500 in October and the a6300 in February.

I guess the next ‘biggie’ will be in March 2017.

Just a heads up for the Sony fans re. CES 2017.

“Black Books” On “Acorn TV”: Another Classic, Irreverent British Comedy Series.

by Anura Guruge

Click to access the “Acorn TV” page for this wildly hilarious comedy series.

Yes, there is a must watch trailer that will give you an idea as to what you are missing.

I have been subscribing to “Acorn TV” — streaming British TV — on our “Roku 3” for over a year.

It is, indubitably, the BEST $4/month I spend!

On Friday night we came across “Black Books” while looking for a ’30-minute’ program. Glad we found it.

It was very, very funny.

Quintessential, irreverent British comedy. Nobody else comes close.

Some similarities to “The Detectorists” which was also on Acorn.

Malaysian Airlines MH370: 2 Year 10 Month Anniversary, January 8, 2017.

by Anura Guruge

If you are off a thinking disposition, you can’t help but wonder how different this search would have been IF it was under the control of the U.S. or Britain rather than Australia. Australians are OK — they play cricket and know how to party. But, can you name anything invented in Australia or of a famous Australian author. I rest my case.
