Think – Today: What Makes Something Alive?

animateNot the ‘meaning of life’ but ‘what is it that causes life’? Inanimate objects do not have life, animate objects do. What is that that creates that life? What makes something ‘ALIVE’?

Think first, then research, then THINK again. Think for the pleasure of thinking.

Yesterday’s ‘Think’: “When Did Today’s Playing Cards Make An Appearance” — playing cards, though not resembling what we play with today, have been documented as having been present in China in the 9th century. Cards were known to have been in use in Europe five centuries later. Cards of the form we now know them are believed to have originated in 1693.
