Get A Refund When Amazon Fails To Deliver On Its Prime Two-Day Shipping Promise.
Let’s just say that I have received $37 back from Amazon, in the last 12 days, for it missing three (3) shipment dates.
I keep assiduous track of all my Amazon shipments and track the packages. IF the package is not delivered, per the promised day — typically because of a USPS screw-up — I call up Amazon at 8:15pm, on the day, and ask for a refund. And they always oblige.
So, stay on top of this. It can be a nice little added discount. {SMILE}.

Sorry To Say That Amazon’s “Prime Photos” Is Not Ready For Prime Time — By A Long Chalk.
If you read this blog on a regular basis you will know that I am HUGE fan and customer of Amazon. I, in addition to also publishing most of my recent books through Amazon, happen to be a very happy Amazon shareholder. There is not a day that goes by when Amazon is not a part of my life.
Thus it genuinely grieves me to inform you that ‘Amazon Prime Photos’, at present SUCKS.
It is quite PATHETIC.
What is the main problem. It does NOT have the capacity to handle the load. Basically it is having trouble coping with the user load — especially with Amazon also coping with Black Friday/Cyber Monday traffic.
Hopefully down the road Amazon will fix this. They just need to increase capacity.
‘Amazon Prime Photos’ appears to be based on Snapfish.
Right now it is real difficult to upload photos! Not funny.
I have managed, over 2 days, with MULTIPLE retries to load 3,602 photos. It is so slow and error-prone.

Think – Today: Has The Makeup Of Our Atmosphere Changed Over Time?
Yes, you hear about the greenhouse gases, lead (from when we used leaded gas/petrol) etc., in our atmosphere. But, have you given any thought to whether the makeup of our atmosphere has changed, significantly, over the years. It is something worth thinking about. The atmosphere is pretty vital to our life. Right?
Think first, then research, then THINK again. Think for the pleasure of thinking.
Yesterday’s ‘Think’: “Fidel Castro and the nine days of mourning” — nine consecutive days of mourning, novendiale (or novemdiales) in Italian, is a very old Catholic custom that used to be regularly practiced upon the death of nobles. Typically a Catholic Mass is held on each of the nine days. These days you typically only hear about novendiale upon the death of a pope. That this Catholic tradition is being used with Castro is intriguing. Though born a Catholic he has claimed that he was a non-believer. He, however, made a point of meeting popes. As far as we know there are no official Catholic church ceremonies associated with his funeral.
