Kind of interesting that the word ‘galaxy’ actually comes from the Greek for ‘Milky Way’. But, when did we, as humans, finally determine that the Milky Way was a galaxy? A designation based on a century would be fine. OK?

Yesterday’s ‘Think’: “How long to build the Empire State Building” — Start to finish was said to be 410 days! January 1930 to April 1931. Pretty amazing. 4 days per floor. Could we do it that quickly today?

Impact of the April 2016 earthquake.
There has been no reports of any crippling damages as yet.
So all could be fine. But even a couple of days worth of delays at the Japanese end could affect Christmas availability.
