If You Are Waiting For A Tax Refund From The State Of New Hampshire State Best To Call After 3 Months.
‘They’ have up to 3 YEARS to send you a refund check.
Yes, you read that correct. 3 YEARS!
After 3 months they start paying you interest (though it can’t be much). However, due to this interest payment, to save the State money, they process refunds starting with the HIGHEST AMOUNTS owed. So if you refund is for ‘peanuts’ you could be waiting a long time.
All refunds have to be MANUALLY checked and authorized.
If your return was not electronic there will also be the delay while the forms are scanned and entered into the system.
But, the GOOD NEWS.
After waiting OVER 3 months call 603-230-5920.
At least in my case, when I called earlier today, ‘she’ could NOT have been more helpful. Absolutely delightful — from the getgo. She even called me back 20 minutes later to say that she had my refund approved and that I should get a check in 2 to 3 weeks! Wow. But, that is NH State. On the whole very helpful and alway cognizant that they are there to help us.
So, IF you are waiting for a refund, wait 96 days then call 603-230-5920. IF you are lucky you might get the same lady I did. I won’t tell you her name. That would not be fair.

It was serendipitous, without doubt. I came across this delightful ‘Consignment Gallery‘ last Thursday night when we ‘did’ Concord “Market Days Festival” — in part to watch our neighbour ‘Kristie’ sing at “Tandy’s Pub“, in Eagle Square. This ‘Gallery’ — and it is indeed that as opposed to just a ‘shop’ — is just around the corner from Eagle Square. Though they have been there on N. Main St. (smack bang in the middle) this was the first time we had noticed it — mainly because we don’t walk that street that much.
Glad we stumbled upon it. Really well laid out. Very inviting, warm and congenial. Very colorful and a visual treat. Loved it. The prices were extremely compelling. It was close to 8pm and Deanna was not in a shopping mood. That was a shame because I would have bought a few things. But we will go back.
If you are in Concord, NH you should definitely stop by. It really is like entering an Art Gallery! What more can I say.

“Great British Bake Off” (Show) Airing On PBS, Starting Friday, July 1, 2016, Is Last Year’s Series 6.
Season 7 hasn’t aired, as yet, even on BBC. It starts August 2016.
We should, as we did with Season 6, be able to watch it on YouTube 24 hours after it airs in the UK. But this is not a given.
Here is the PBS program description for the July 1, 2016 show.

Is 2016 The ‘Year of Pentax’ With The Impressive Pentax K-70 & Now ‘Award-Winning’, Full-Frame Pentax K-1?
All material from “DPReview.com“.

The Pentax K-70, as I have already raved about, is impressive. And then there is the full-frame, DSLR K-1 that is pushing the likes of the venerable Canon EOS 6D & Nikon D610 onto the sideline. The K-1 has really got me thinking whether I should cease with all compromises and just go full-frame! Wow. Just to get me thinking full-frame was quite a feat. So Pentax definitely deserves more due diligence and scrutiny in 2016 than ever before — though the Pentax K-3 (2013) even before the Pentax K-3 II (2015) was always a DSLR to be reckoned with.
