Something went wrong at Global Google HQ with this rather nice Google Doodle.

I expected a Winter Solstice Doodle either yesterday, given that it really did happen yesterday,
or today. At midnight I found this Doodle in the Archives
BUT it was not enabled for the U.S.! 

Today, Dec. 22, the day after the Solstice per se,
they activated it for the U.S. around 11:45 am.

Very strange.
