I have been, quite gainfully, with ‘North American Power‘ since April 2015. But the 8.99c rate I was getting was only guaranteed for 2015. I knew that.

Well a couple of days ago I got a renewal letter. I have till 1/9/2016 to make up my mind.

So I started looking around. ‘North American Power’, right now, has as their lowest rate, 9.29c/kWh. That is a 3% increase. I could live with that.

<< While writing this, given that I can multitask, I called up and SIGNED UP for the 9.29 rate for 10 months! That is one thing less off my list. >>

Here are the rates I found so far.

I can’t find the true rates for Eversore Energy. But they are bound to be high. So I am not even going to bother.

I like the ‘New Camera‘ Website and content. Over the last few weeks, after I stumbled upon them serendipitously, I visit them at least twice a day!

They, of course, given what they do, know their stuff.

Of course any camera buying guide is subjective. With that in mind, I can basically live with what it says in this guide.

That they concur with I that the Panasonic Lumix FZ1000, which I bought (in a hurry in September), is THE BEST long zoom camera was a bonus. I was chuffed. So I got it RIGHT.

Pope Francis decries Christmas 2015 and specifically says “… There will be lights, there will be parties, bright trees, even Nativity scenes, all decked out, …” Click image for ‘Rolling Stone” original.

Yes, of course, Pope Francis is RIGHT about the World merrily playing ‘the fiddle’ while there is all this strife and conflict.

I fully understand his statements about Christmas.

What I want to know is what Pope Francis is going to do about it?

This is a pope that people are beginning to appreciate makes statements that he does not follow through on — or are even contrary to what he believes. Suffice just to bring up “Who am I to judge?”.

The Vatican, quite rightly, makes a BIG deal about Christmas. The Vatican nativity scene, accompanied by a huge Christmas tree, is a beloved tradition and a HUGE money maker for the Vatican.

The pope, given he feels so strongly about it, should go ahead the CANCEL the Vatican nativity.

That would be a shot heard all over the world.

He has the power to do so and he KNOWS that he has the power.

Do NOT underestimate this pope or be deceived by his apparent naivety. He knows the power he commands.

So this is a GREAT opportunity. Not moving to the Papal Apartments was one thing. Now here is another great chance to really show that his words COUNT.

This APP really should be a built-in standard feature within the Roku System menu. It is not.

Roku, in its ‘Network’ menu, does NOT provide a speed test/bandwidth test — and one really is handy if you are having loading or image quality issues (as can often be the case with say Sling). I had been using an external speed test whilst promising myself that I will check to see if I can get a Roku ‘App’ [actually a channel].

It is easy enough to find IF you Google it.

It is a PRIVATE channel. So it has to be installed from a PC. You need to be able to logon to your Roku account — i.e., you need to know your password.

Other than that it is easy enough. On the Roku, on the System menu, click ‘Check UPDATES’ to force the Roku to download and install the App.

You will love it.

With the first bottle long gone (consumed growing reverence) and now into my second bottle I have to say that my admiration and awe for the 2015 Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau has reached new heights. It is a very pleasant, highly potable wine. Piques the nose with a sharp aroma and rewards the mouth with a full, robust, no-nonsense fruity flavor.

I drink my daily glass of red wine after my late lunch while I do some serious writing. I take healthy sips while contemplating what I have just written or about to write. A good wine makes me take notice of it despite my focus on my writing. That is the case with this 2015. It is not a background wine. It is a wine that begs attention because of its presence. It will be a great wine to chat over though I suspect you will go through the bottle rather quickly. I am glad I bought 1/2 a case. This wine will go quick. I will keep on buying it till it is all gone.

I recommend it highly. The 2014 Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau was also very compelling. This is as good, IF not better.

If you are into reds do yourself a favor and definitely try a bottle. I am positive that you will like what you taste.

Cheers.
