Today, May 8, 2015, is 14 full months!

426 days.

Nothing. Nada. Zilch.

Amazing!

Doesn’t it blow your mind?

The 1st article below states — “Only ONE Conclusion …”

It did NOT crash. It Landed.

The 2nd article speculates on the Northern route it could have taken.

MY MAN, Churchill, waving to the crowds in London with them ROARING back “It was YOUR victory” once he had told them that “It was YOUR victory”. THEY knew who had won the WAR for whom.

From (of course) the U.K. Daily Mail (my favorite paper of all times). Click to ENLARGE and savor. The day after the Parliamentary Election. Beautiful site. So British. Makes me SO proud but also very homesick. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/ushome/index.html

It is good that Google remembered
BUT how can THEY get it so, so wrong!

VE day, Victory Europe, was NOT, I repeat NOT,
the end of World War II.
The bloody Japanese still had to be subdued!
There was a bomb involved. Doesn’t Google know U.S. history?

Other than acknowledging that I am ‘touched’ I am not going to say much about this.

When I saw this I realized to my horror that I have no idea where Don & Sandy stood on religion let alone know what their religious persuasion was. All I can say with some certainty is that I am pretty sure they did not go to church, too often, on Sunday mornings. They could have been Catholics for all I know.

If this in any way helps the parents cope with the unimaginable loss, I am glad.

In any and all situations like this, I, knowing that the pope maintains a title that says he is Vicar of Christ, just wish the pope would have interceded BEFORE the tragedy. Blessing kids after they have died, to me, seems disingenuous and pointless. The kids, by definition, should be in a good place. So the pope’s blessing isn’t going to do much at this stage. C’est la vie.
