This is the FIRST MetroCast Internet outage I have experienced since I switched over to their 75/5 Mbps service on January 7, 2015.

So first outage in 48 days.

I just (11:25) called MetroCast. The greeting message said that they are experiencing intermittent Internet outages all over New Hampshire!

I was calling them to find out if the 12:15 outage was due to planned maintenance. TDS used to do that. Right around midnight they would have a shutdown for 20 to 40 minutes to do maintenance. I, after out 8 calls, finally managed to get them to understand that some of us are still working at that time and that they should wait till say 2 am or 3 am. And that happened.

Now I will have to work on MetroCast.

So this is why I couldn’t do any posts last ‘night’. My new schedule for posting is 12 am to 1 am. I lost my connection while I was mid-sentence writing about Alton’s pathetic Superintendent, Billy Lander, whose English would not pass master in 6th Grade!
