I always try to make a point of watching the video of the “Remembrance Sunday” Cenotaph ceremony. It is always so beautifully choreographed. Regal pomp and ceremony with respect and dignity as only us, the British, can pull off. I am thankful and proud everyday that I was fortunate enough to be a British citizen, on days like this it gives me goose bumps. This is Tradition with a capital ‘T‘. Just wonderful to see all the folks wearing their red poppy, or poppies, with pride. I wore my Canadian Red Poppy today, with pride, with a backing. (The backing worked. It stayed in place).

I hope you were available to identify all the royals bar the last. The last, the elderly gentleman, was the Duke of Kent. The others were the male members of the Royal family: husband, eldest son, Charles, his two sons William & Harry, BUT we also see the Queen’s 2nd son, Andrew.

Wonderful. Wonderful. Wonderful.

We did them proud. Remembered and honored them as they deserved.

A Great Day, yet again, to be British.

I refused to talk about the events leading up to Sunday though I followed them closely. Idiots, all of them.
