I had an e-mail about this new location from ‘Granite State Ambassadors‘ (GSAs) yesterday and thought I should share it since many people were so familiar with the old location, off Eagle Square, on the side of Storrs Street, partly hidden by the multi-story ‘members-only’ parking garage for the N.H. State House — confusingly labeled, as the parking for the ‘New Hampshire General Court’, which its the formal title.
So this is just a heads up. I have yet to visit the new location BUT have now been invited for a tour as GSA (that very occasionally does duty at the State House). I have been to the Museum, at the old location, a number of times. Taken the kids a few times. I like it. Very intimate and ‘personal’ collection. Like the gift store too.
Well worth a visit. I have not been to the Library. Have an invitation for that too. [Yes, there are definite, tangible perks to being a GSA.]
