Last night when I was checking my stats, as I always do, to make sure that I am fulfilling the needs of the readership I noticed that my “Glengarry Bhoys & Brigadoons‘Dream Ticket’ Post had received 200+ hits in the hour! So I knew that someone had picked it up and put it on a Bhoys related page. Then when I saw that many had come from Facebook it wasn’t hard to work out where to look. Though I don’t use Facebook (which is way too complicated and involved for me) I was able to find their page thanks to dear Google. Bingo. I will get Deanna to send them a message. IF I can make ‘the dream’ come true I will be delighted and so will so many others. I am sure we can make this happen. Here is to THE GAMES — reinvigorated thanks to the Bhoys.

I think this is GOOD news. Competition is always good though I have a sinking feeling that all the premiums will be up this year now that they got us suckered in via Obamacare.

We in Belknap County will have access to, in theory, four (4). Wow. Four! The ‘Maine Community‘ plan, which I had talked about in June, is only available in counties that share a border with Maine — which means that Coo(r)s gets it but not Belknap, though the western reaches of dear Coors county are much further from Maine than Alton!

Also do NOT forget that the premium-reducing subsidies provided through ‘healthcare.gov‘ are now in doubt and possible threat.

I am going to contact the 4 plans that cover Belknap, outside of the dreaded, plagued, fraud-riddenhealthcare.gov‘ and see if I can get coverage directly through them. I suggest you at least look into that. I don’t know whether I have the energy to go through another bloody round, and bloody it was, of trying to get coverage via ‘healthcare.gov‘.

I had an e-mail about this new location from ‘Granite State Ambassadors‘ (GSAs) yesterday and thought I should share it since many people were so familiar with the old location, off Eagle Square, on the side of Storrs Street, partly hidden by the multi-story ‘members-only’ parking garage for the N.H. State House — confusingly labeled, as the parking for the ‘New Hampshire General Court’, which its the formal title.

So this is just a heads up. I have yet to visit the new location BUT have now been invited for a tour as GSA (that very occasionally does duty at the State House). I have been to the Museum, at the old location, a number of times. Taken the kids a few times. I like it. Very intimate and ‘personal’ collection. Like the gift store too.

Well worth a visit. I have not been to the Library. Have an invitation for that too. [Yes, there are definite, tangible perks to being a GSA.]
