I was worried for a second that he might be ‘up there’ so to speak. HE IS NOT. He is but a Spring Chicken. Just 69. Just a tad older than me (but that is NOT saying much). But, six years younger than the AMAZING Gordon Lightfoot, who at 75, enchanted us, royally, last Friday.
Rod will be magic. I saw him, live, in Worcester, MA, c. 1988. That was quite the show.
This is exciting. Two bona fide Scots — Rod and Susan.
Here’s to the Games. Here’s to our GLORIOUS British Commonwealth.

“An Evening of Broadway”
Great Waters Festival Chorus
featuring songs by
Alan Jay Lerner & Frederick Loewe.
Songs from shows including: “Camelot”, “Paint Your Wagon”, “Gigi”, “Brigadoon” and “My Fair Lady”.
Some of the songs that will be performed include: “If Ever I Would Leave You”, “They Call the Wind Maria”, “Thank Heaven For Little Girls”, “It’s Almost Like Being in Love” and “I Could Have Danced All Night”.
One of the soloist will be Rebecca Robbins.
The music conductor for the night will be Dr. Christopher Shephard, the Artistic Director of the Worcester Chorus (in MA).
