For the second Saturday morning in a row I just happened to be in Wolfeboro, N.H. This time it was not for ‘Clearlakes Chorale‘ practice for Devanee as it was last Saturday. Teischan had ballet lessons. Well, I knew what I was going to be doing though it was, in theory, my day off since I did slog it up Prospect Mountain Road the last three mornings. I was going to walk “Cherry Valley“. I knew it was going to be divine.
Devanee came with me. She likes that trail — and to be fair who doesn’t. It is a GEM.
It was, suffice to say, delightful. Still some snow. Slushy and there is ice on some bodies of water. The Spring Peepers were out. I did do a video.
Not as many people as I expected. Under 10 in total, 3 happened to be young ladies jogging in shorts. Always nice to see. The others were way over dressed for what was a 60°F morning. I guess people are still getting used to the abrupt change in temperature.
It is beautiful. You really should walk this trail.
