>>> March 3rd’s Breaking News Post On
Fred Fuller vis-à-vis Alton Central School (ACS) <<<

Tuesday, March 11, 2014: 2:06 pm — UPDATE.

I just had a phone call from a very nice gentleman, ‘Richard’, from Rymes Oil. He had seen this post and called me to say he liked how their pink truck looked on the post.

He then went onto CONFIRM that they, i.e., Rymes,
delivered oil to ACS both ‘yesterday and today’
AND that they are providing the oil, ‘to help out‘, at COST.

That is very nice of them. I am impressed. Seems like a very nice company. I like that they have pink trucks to raise breast cancer awareness. Appears that they donate a cent per gallon to breast cancer research. I asked, and he confirmed, the trucks are even dedicated, by name, to breast cancer victims. I told him, point blank, that I am so impressed that IF Foley Oil (who I have been with for over 17 years) gives me any grief — I am signing up with Rymes.

So lets please get one thing straight here re. these ’emergency’ oil deliveries to ACS. Rymes is HELPING OUT — at cost. They are the good guys.

2010_078 Rymes Propane Pink TrucksAppears that there was one, possibly two, pink Rymes oil trucks at Alton Central School (ACS) today, Monday, March 10, 2014.

In one case there was no question that it delivered something to the school through a long pipe. I would have to assume that it was heating oil.

So what happened to the Fred Fuller “pre-buy” (or what we thought was a pre-buy) — that Deanna once questioned at an ACS School Board meeting? I guess that money is going bye-bye like so much before it. Nice. Very nice.

<< Appears I was wrong about the Fred Fuller pre-buy though I thought I remembered Deanna standing up at a Board Meeting asking them about the wisdom of pre-buy. C’est la vie. Can’t get it all right, especially given all the irons I have in the fire. Fallibility is my handmaiden since I am, unlike some, very mortal. Plus, given all the outright baseless statements about me made by the Superintendent and Principal in the last few months, I have no qualms about getting something like this wrong. At least I admit it when I get something wrong. >>

Yes, I know that the Administration threatened to do this in the letter they sent home on March 4th. So now they have gone ahead with it. I guess the Alton taxpayers, as ever, will have to grin and bear it.

As ever, my goal is to document this stuff.

  1. steve miller says :

As usual you have jumped to a conclusion that is not based on any facts other than those you have either assumed or made up. ALton Central School has never had-I repeat never had a prebuy agreement with Fuller Oil. We have a contract that states the maximum price Fuller can charge ACS after a delivery has been made. ACS has never sent Fuller any money prior to ACS receiving the product specified due to terms of the contract. THERE NEVER WAS A PREBUY CONTRACT OR PREBUY RELATIONSHIP WITH FULLER OIL. It is simple business. We requested oil, we ran out, so we found a more reputable supplier who is able to completely fill our tanks whenever we need to. Your personal agenda against the ACS administration and school board is making you look more petty and insignificant every time you fail to verify rumors and innuendos which has become the rule rather than the exception. . Get a grip and try to be somewhat professional in the future.
