Yes, our favorite Bon Bon was in it,
as she had in Durham for the first two performances.

Here is the YouTube video of the Bon Bons from Wolfeboro.

Click to access YouTube video. It is a must watch, of course.

Here is the deal. Teischan, of course, has her own Website.

I created a dedicated Nutcracker 2013 page
on it for her earlier this morning.
So rather than duplicating stuff why don’t you please visit that page.

This is the 2nd Nutcracker by Northeastern Ballet that we have been to. We went to one two years ago. I bought the tickets online. So this year I got an e-mail that talked about auditions. The rest is history.

I enjoyed the first show we attended. With four kids I have been to quite a few Nutcracker shows. Despite my dramatic introduction to ballet, I sometimes feel that some of the ballet routines in some Nutcracker performances go on for a tad too long. Not so with Edra Toth’s production for Northeastern. Sheer Goldilocks. Just right. Perfection.

It was a wonderful performance. Hit the spot. Very talented troupe. We kind of feel blessed. Clearlakes Chorale and Northeastern Ballet. We have a division of labor here: I do Clearlakes with Devanee and Deanna did Northeastern Ballet with Teischan. Getting to go to the two performances, a week apart, was magic. That Mrs. Cook, Devanee’s 2nd Grade Teacher from Alton Central (ACS), now retired, was able to come with us was special. We all had a good time.

The show finished at 9:20.

At 9:40 pm, the Saturday before Christmas, everything was closed in Wolfeboro! Talk about being provisional. Wow. I was amazed and distraught. Eventually we managed to get sandwiches and microwaved soup at the Wolfeboro Inn.

But, it was a great, memorable night out.
