Lets please start today the way I mean to carry on.

My favorite  day of the Year, as THE committed Sun Worshipper I have always been
— as my year long tan amply testifies.

Plus given that I am an adopted Celt, Welsh and Scot, come party with me like only WE can.

Revels is all about today, the solstice.
So, let us take a second to pay homage to Revels

From the Revels mother-ship in Cambridge, MA. That is: revels.org. They sent me this in an e-mail this week. I hope they don't mind me sharing it with you. I am their biggest, even after I lost my 30 pounds, fan -- so, I beg indulgence. It is THE Yule. Lets be Merry. Summer is on the way. Click to ENLARGE.

Now, per the Revels tradition let us all listen to this Yule, Sol Invictus, invocation
— and be refreshed and rejuvenated.

Days are getting longer. That is without doubt or debate.
I talked about this, at length, in this post. Please check it out.

On Boxing Day, a wonderful holiday, actually a Holy-Day, we have ONE FULL MINUTES of additional daylight.

By New Year’s Eve the days will be 3 minutes longer.

Check out this table from our wonderful U.S. Naval Observatory.
See how the daylight hours increase, month to month, till June
— and this is for Concord, New Hamphsire

Just for the record, today, December 21, 2013, we get 8:59 hours of daylight.
So just in a month we will be getting over 1/2 hour more.

Rejoice, Rejoice.

Happiest Day of the Year.

Merry Yule.

Party Like A Celt. Clothing Optional.

Happy Yule.
