I did not request the ‘right to know’ letter shown below containing this incendiary information.
The letter, with the ‘contact information’ blacked out (for obvious reasons), was delivered to our doorstep Saturday morning [along with two, HUGE, frozen venison burgers].
The SAU and ‘those that care’ in Alton know who requested this information. We, for two, thank that person for the continued vigilance.

So that is not even for YTD 2013. So for all we know he could have got paid a similar amount or more for ‘his immaculate, holy presence‘ between January 1, 2013 and July 1, 2013.
That our richly compensated and as such ‘nose in the air’ Superintendent claims that he is ‘unaware’ is quite RICH! If we are paying the architect $273.82 a DAY, shouldn’t the Superintendent, William (‘Bill’) P. Lander, have some idea as to when he visits the school? But, there is a pattern here, with this Superintendent — post 1 & post 2. As you can see from those posts, “I don’t know” or “I can’t do that” are phrases he utters often — which is very incongruous given his bearing — at least towards me and my wife.
Kind of sad. ACS can’t afford a full-time Resource Officer but we can pay $32,585.08 to an architect — BECAUSE from what it says in this letter he gets 8% of ALL Board Approved construction work performed at the school!
Think about that. So all that renovation that was done during the Summer. He got 8% of that though it really didn’t require any architectural input.
Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.
