It takes a LOT to impress me when it comes to ‘gadgets’.
But, I have to say that this 5 handset Panasonic has blown me away. I don’t want to jinx myself but all I can say right now about this system, which I got for $90 from Amazon (on a special deal last week), is WOW, WOW, WOW!
To get me to say 3 WOWs for a phone system takes some doing — especially as this Panasonic system is but a replacement for a 2007 Panasonic system with 4 handsets. So it wasn’t like I wasn’t used to Panasonic phones.
But, the difference between this system (2011 technology) and my old 2007 system (probably 2005 technology) is like chalk and cheese.
Right now my only regret is that I didn’t get the even newer KXTG7875S! That is Amazon’s fault. They didn’t show me that as an option — at the time. They showed me the TG7645M, on a 3 phone comparison, as THE BEST.
Compared to the garbage VTech CS6429-4 this looks and feels like an iPad.
The Link-to-Cell worked fine. I was impressed and gratified.
Have it all hooked up via the Obi110 Voice Service Bridge. So we now have a pretty complicated but interconnected phone system. I will draw a network diagram soon.
For now, I am very happy. I hope I will continue to be so.
