Do NOT buy Al Gore’s latest book,
‘The Future’, in HARDBACK.

Demand the paperback.

Hardbacks waste trees and energy! Period.

This has noting to do with Al Gore, the book or what it has to say.

This has all to do with the sheer hypocrisy of Al Gore publishing a book, which among other things decries global warming, in hardback. It is the same as Al Gore jetting around the world in private jets decrying carbon emissions.

There is absolutely no justification for hardback books TODAY
other than profit margins and author vanity.

Remember, I have been in book publishing for a long time. Today we have something called ‘Perfect Binding‘ for paperbacks. Perfect binding can handle any size book. I just finished reading Ken Follett’s ‘World Without End’ in paperback. 1,039 pages of story. All told it was probably 1,060 pages long. No problems. Took me 2 months to read it. The binding was fine.

Al Gore’s book is half the size.

There is NO need for it to be in hardback other than for generating more profits.

This is wrong. Makes Al Gore look like even more of a fraud than he really is! I like him. He is a likeable guy. Good sense of humor. But he is not genuine.

With Al, it is: ‘Do as I say, not as I do’!

Not good Al. Credibility. You lack credibility, BIG TIME. Sorry.

Is Al Gore Gay? I Just Got Back From Seeing Him In Concord.

Yes, yes, yes. I know he was married to Tipper. Yes, I saw THE KISS. But, Tipper is history and per a very quick Google he is ‘single’, living, supposedly, alone in his 10,000 sq. foot mansion. Hhhhmmm.

I saw him this afternoon in Concord. I was probably 15′ away. He looks alright. Bloated, beer gut, but still very good looking. Better than I would ever look at his age.

Don’t know why I got the vibes. But, I am fairly good at picking those up. I have no issue with it. Totally his prerogative.

What else made me think about it. He is SINGLE. He is famous. He is filthy rich. But, he wasn’t surrounded by a bevvy of female staff. Come on, he was Bill’s V.P., and I remember his revulsion about Monica. Hhhhmm. Yes, Deanna will tell me off, and say that all men are not like me and that they won’t rush off and get binders of women. I don’t know. I know how most men act.

Just wondering. I wonder about these things. Crosses my mind.

If he is gay and has kept it quiet for all these years that might explain why he sometimes comes across as conflicted and even tortured. I hope he works it all out.

Thank YOU PSNH. That Was Outstanding. I Am Glad You Take Care Of My Lines.

ThankYouPSNH

Teischan and Deanna had noticed this morning that the top of one of our trees, by the road, had snapped off. If was not totally separated. But it was down, at 90°, albeit held up by the tops of its companion tree. This broken top was right above all of the utility wires coming from the street pole to the house. We have quite a few wires. PSNH, two TDS fiber lines for out two separate Internet feeds and unused Metrocast cables.

With a Nor-Easter expected on Friday Deanna was convinced that this ‘branch’ would come crashing down taking with it all the lines and cables. I was going to try and take it down. I am a fairly decent lumberjack, though Deanna never gives me the deserved credit.

Deanna called PSNH. She said she was worried. They made her go outside and look. Yes, the fallen bits of the tree were touching PSNH wires. They said they will look into it. Deanna, looking upwards at the lines, fell down and slipped down the bank. She was not amused. PSNH said they will have it looked at within 24 hours.

We had to go to see Al Gore in Concord. We left around 11 am.

We got back at 3:30. PSNH had come and cleared up everything. They even trimmed around the damage to prevent future trouble. They had done an awesome job. Neat, tidy and thorough.

I am very impressed. I am very pleased. I am very grateful.

I always believe in giving credit when credit is due. THANK YOU PSNH.

This is why, in my last post, I worried as to what will happen to PSNH if we all went with the cheaper alternate energy providers.
