Portsmouth, NH Also Has A ‘First Night’ With Ice Sculpture …
>>December 7, 2012.

We did ‘First Night‘, as planned, in Wolfeboro, as we had also done the previous year. And as is also our wont, we went to Portsmouth on New Year’s Day. This year it was our 1oth Wedding Anniversary. We didn’t get to Portsmouth till ‘late’; 4.30pm. We had dinner, per Deanna’s wish, at the ‘Gas Light Grill‘. It was OK. Half price Martinis — since it was Tuesday (a deal they have every Tuesday). That was good. Yes, we saw the broken ice sculpture. Not sure what the story is, whether it was an accident or vandalism.
