Gorgeous flowers are a hallmark of this beautiful, enchanting hilltop estate. Taking pictures of the flowers is one of my favorite parts of our many trips to the Castle. On this visit we didn’t step foot in the Castle. Just roamed the estate.

If you do a search on ‘flowers castle’ you will find MANY previous posts on “The Flowers Of ‘Castle In The Clouds‘”.

So, enjoy. It was cold today. In the 50Fs. Winter is coming. So, I need to get my full fill of flowers while I still can. Cheers.

This is the fireplace in the ‘Carriage House‘, at the ‘Castle In The Clouds‘. This was around 4:30pm this afternoon. No, it wasn’t us — though we did have a very late lunch there, replete with my mandatory glass of red. I saw this tableau as I was leaving and had to take a snap.

The Men’s Room at the ‘Carriage House’, at the ‘Castle In The Clouds‘ has this big window that opens up to this vista. And what a view. I never tire of taking pictures of it. Taking a camera in there is not an issue. People understand that I might be reluctant to just leave my camera outside. Just have to wait until there is nobody around because I am sure folks are queasy of somebody taking pictures while they are in there. Typically this is NOT a problem. It is empty a fair amount of the time.

A different perspective of “Castle In The Clouds” — which is now closed until May 2018. This was from the October 18, 2017 visit — our 3rd in 2017.

It is fun to try and visualize what views ‘they’ enjoyed out of these windows. I am sure I am not doing enough justice. Not as easy, getting it right — or at least not for I.

Enjoy. So, many more pictures of the “Castle” that I should post.

But, I wanted to get these out. Enjoy.

Yes, this was a landmark I was working towards.

No, I can’t ‘spike’ the numbers myself. WordPress maintains the STATS and they ignore any and all access of a blog from the same IP address (and range) as that of the administrator (i.e., me).

This is a lot of work, but rewarding. Knowing that you have at least 600 views a day, day-in, day-out, is quite nice.

April and May of this year was when I had my ‘meltdown‘. Hence the low numbers. In January & February of last year and this year WordPress had documented issues with their STAT servers. So I lost thousands of hits. C’est la vie.

But, I plugged on. In 2015, when I hit the 500,000 mark I thought it would take me till February 2017 to get to 1,000,000.

Around March of this year I recalibrated that to Thanksgiving 2016.

The last 2 weeks I had November 20th as the day. Beat that by 2 days.

No, I am not going to ease up. Now to the next million.

Thank YOU for your support. Could NOT have done this without all of you.

Thank YOU, a 1,000,000 TIMES.

Very frustrating. I know by 10am IF WordPress is having issues — and now they, i.e., WP, knows that I know when they are having issues. SMILE. No consolation. Just a heads up.
