But, I covered basically the SAME story
Moreover, as I explain, I have been to BOTH sites —
the REAL ONE in Thailand and the
make believe movie set in Sri Lanka!
Caught my eye. Made me smile. I knew I had done the same story some years ago. So, I am sharing. Enjoy.

I was CRUSHED!
How could they do this to US? How could they do this to ME?
Drive up in an ugly, black KRAUT wagon. WTF!
And then this DISGUSTING German monstrosity.
Harry …. What were YOU thinking with?
I will NOT dredge up their German antecedents. We are beyond that.
But, why … oh, WHY?
You have enough Bentley’s in the family.
I really was crushed. I had to have a swig of wine to regain my composure.
I hate German bloody cars.
I love British cars.
This was CLASS.
We have Bentley’s and they don’t get ANY BETTER than that.
I had NOT heard of this concept car, which had been unveiled in 2017. I guess it didn’t get much shrift in the U.S.
So, when I first saw it in the news — and read about it in the media — I thought it was a cruel ‘modification’.
So, anything that violates the proud Jaguar legacy does not sit well with I.
But, this was OK. I am happy.
It is a REAL Jaguar.
This is like a bespoke camera — made just for I.
Fuji really should make one with a note that says:
“Made Specifically For Anura Guruge”.
I have been lusting after the X-T2
ever since I realized it was going to be for real.
Now there are a series of YouTube videos of actual Fuji X-T2s.
This is, by far, the MOST BEAUTIFUL camera
I have ever seen.
I would have sold a kidney to get one. Luckily I don’t.
Have the money. Already budgeted. SMILE.
8 Control dials. EIGHT! Wow.

Deanna had seen this on Facebook and happened to mention it when we were in Portsmouth for Thanksgiving.
Given that parking, understandably, is a big revenue source, I was curious and decided to check. I am glad I did.
It appears that providing free holiday parking is now becoming a holiday tradition in Portsmouth. Bravo. But, it is carefully controlled.
If you just do a quick Google the entry you most likely get is for the ‘2011’, and the dates are slightly different. I nearly fell for that.
I ended up finding the actual meeting minutes, from Nov. 15, 2012, when it was approved. Contrary to what some had imagined it is not from Thanksgiving onwards. That would have been ultra generous and a huge drain on funds.
