Rejoice. We finally made it — two weeks later than last year.

Yes, today, Monday, June 10, 2019, was THE day. First time I was able to walk/run TOPLESS this Summer. It felt good. As of now, into late September, I plan to walk/run topless.

Please feel FREE to do the same, irrespective of gender. New Hampshire DOES NOT have a statewide law banning toplessness — just a local ordinance in Laconia.

Typically the New Hampshire TOPLESS season starts in May. But, this year has been particularly cold. It fell into the mid-50s last night but quickly warmed up into the high-60s by 10am. By the time I got back, after 90 minutes in the Sun, it was in the 70s.

Don’t lose any time. Winter will be with us before you know it!

As you can clearly see I feared this and THAT was the reason I ‘soured’ on the ‘movement’.

So let me try to explain AGAIN as to why I feared this would happen and why that put me at odds with those that thought they were onto a good thing.

CURRENTLY New Hampshire, like most other States, do NOT have any State-level laws precluding toplessness.

So the female nipple was and still is FREE (bar some silly, unenforceable local ordinances, e.g., Gilford beach).

When the New Hampshire ‘Free The Nipple‘ movement came to be WE did NOT know that there were NO State Laws against toplessness. We assumed that there must be.

Then we FOUND OUT.

And as far as I was concerned that turned everything on its head.

No laws meant that the nipple was FREE.

PROTESTING and asking it to be FREED — when it was already FREE — was just asking for trouble.

That was my issue, my problem and my fear.

Protesting against something that was already FREE was STUPID.

NOW if these new laws come into force yes there will be something to protest.

But what a shame.
